RETRACTA-BELT STAYstraight technology includes a wedge-action base connection that provides strength and stability. Visiontron’s exclusive fitting is self-straightening — the wedge action expands as the post is installed to further strengthen the connection. Through-bolt and welded metal cup construction is inherently weaker, and can easily result in crooked posts from day one.

Base features for Visiontron PRIME Cement Base

PRIME cement-filled sloped bases are economically priced and feature technology and materials that will outperform your expectations. We use a high-density cement that is 18% heavier than the standard low-density cement. Low-density cement can easily crack and break apart. Rubber floor protectors are adhered with super strong adhesive and prevent scuffing up floors.

The Visiontron RETRACTA-BELT PRIME stanchions are economically priced and feature technology and materials that will outperform your expectations. The thick and durable 10’ belt is over 30% longer, resulting in fewer stanchions to buy, ship and store. The black ABS base casing is scuff-proof for a long lasting, low maintenance look. Built-in rubber floor protectors around the entire base provides maximum protection. Installation is quick and easy due to our exclusive self-straightening wedge action. Simply place the base on the floor and screw in the post for long lasting stability.

This stanchion features two important safety and reliability innovations:

  • STAYstraight Technology uses an advanced wedge action connection that will remain straighter and stronger over use. Simply line up the post and base then twist for an easy assembly or break down — no tools required.
  • E-Z Back Technology prevents fast snap-back with a strong brake for a slow retraction. It includes a lock that increases safety by stopping accidental release.
